I’m Karen. Some people meditate. I draw hidden stairs.
They’re hyper local, so Berkeley, and whisper “Hey, slow down.”
I fell in love with the paths after chasing them down on a sketchbook-and-sneakers adventure years ago.
I’ve walked them, mapped them (literally helped design the map with the Berkeley Path Wanderers), and now—draw them.
Because the world is loud. And fast. And gray. And the paths are none of that.
Each postcard is my way of bottling up a moment of quiet, a little story, and a lot of leaves.
